- L.J. - Your comparison isn't comparing apples to apples. This is far deeper than deciding between which cartoon character t-shirt you want to wear. This situation is about social norms and gender confusion, a much more serious issue than simply fashion or choosing what you want for lunch.

- Agreed. Parents need the courage to be parents. PARENTS lay down the rules. PARENTS know best. PARENTS have the ability to see long-term consequences of their actions. Children do not.

- Although I don't agree with the parents' approach to this, I don't think he should be removed from the home. He is not in physical danger and appears to be taken care of and loved. There are far more children in far more danger.

- This woman is failing at parenting. Parenting involves setting limits. Parenting is instructing your child in what is wrong and right. Parenting is setting appropriate masculine examples for your son to follow and appropriate feminine examples for your daughter to follow.

- There's no doubt that this has happened on cruise ships around the world for decades. It's just the modern technology and the ability to send pictures, video and interviews instantaneously that puts this in front of the world as it happens now.
